For the AX-ALEX leathergoods we use only the highest quality
of materials and
carefully selected leather.
Entirely handmade and constructed by master craftsmen.
Handmade in Germany.
Exquisite
material, combined in many single steps by hand, distinguish this
collection of leather cases and stand for uncompromising demands
concerning craftsmanship, tradition and sustaining worth.
The
leather:
For
the outside of this case range, we exclusively use finest ostrich leg
leather.
This
leather stands out due to its very extraordinary appearance: A
reptile-like “scalation“ .
For the manufacturing of the AX-ALEX cases we can only
use especially rare, large leather hides without a spot such as
scratches or cracks.
The
leather hides get their expressive colours through a costly tanning as
per traditional methods. For this job there is only one small family
business throughout the whole of Europe that is able to fulfil our
quality requirements.
After
the tanning process the leather is rolled under pressure. This provides
the scalation with its surface gloss. One special feature of this
method is that with using the case everyday, the leather surface
switches to a silky lustre – a patina of an absolutely own character
that is very much appreciated by enthusiasts of fine leather goods.
For
the interior lining soft, high-quality lamb napa leather is used,
attuned tone in tone to the colour of the case.
The
manufacturing:
From
the selection of the leather to the cutting and the sewing up of the
materials, all steps are also only carried out in hand-crafted
manufactury work.
During
this process special care is devoted to details such as from the sewed
and tucked-in edges, the cushioning in between the leathers to ensure
that your telephone is stored in a soft and good way to the smooth run
of the leather surface and the colouration for an extraordinary
appearance.
HANDMADE IN GERMANY
The back
side is made with a belt loop in the same color like the exterior, for
carry the case vertikal.
