About salmon leather:

The cornerstones for producing (nanai) salmon leather are sustainability, plus an eco-friendly approach and processing. Chrome-free process, relying instead on vegetable tanning. In fact, when selecting the skins the only salmon considered are from aquaculture farms known to breed the species appropriately, such as certified organic salmon farms.
